ARTUR KRYNICKI-SZYMAŃSKI was born in 1974 in Zielona Góra. He graduated from the State Film and Television School in Lodz, where he co-created an International Student Festival of Animated Films "Kontakt". For the last 18 years he has been contributing to various Polish magazines, among others: "Angora", "Bluszcz", "Businessman", "Cinema", "Gazeta Lubuska", "Gazeta Wyborcza", "Film", "Foyer", "Manager", "Newsweek", "Playboy", "Polityka", "Press", "Wprost". He took commissions for portraits, among others for Orlen, Warta and Polish Radio. He maintains a portrait gallery online at Wirtualna Polska. Presently contributes regularly to one of the biggest Polish portal Onet.pl, where he presents his own commentary entitled "Komentarz satyryka". Artistic supervisal of a graphic design team responsible for special film effects in postproduction in Lightcraft company.

He took part in many group exhibitions: "III Salon Stowarzyszenia Polskich Artystów Karykatury" (Muzeum Karykatury, 2002), "Polaków portret przaśny. I Forum Młodych Karykaturzystów" (wystawa pokonkursowa) Muzeum Karykatury, 2003/2004).

In 2009 he was awarded distinction in a satirical competition organised by the Museum of Caricature entitled: "Polaków portret przaśny. Obraz po 20 latach wolności. II Forum Młodych Karykaturzystów". (Picture of Poles after 20 years of Freedom). His works were exhibited at the pos-competition exhibition.
